I came to Brooklyn in 2008 to study visual arts, but always struggled to find an exercise routine that I enjoyed. I started practicing pilates in 2016, and instantly found a connection to my body I hadn’t experienced before. Now it has become an essential part of both my physical health and mental health practices- I’ve felt improvement in my posture, strength, energy levels and overall mood. After first coming to Flow as a client, I then joined the front desk team and entered the teacher training program here. I’ve loved deepening my knowledge about pilates, anatomy, and bio mechanics. I’m excited to continue learning and to lead classes where my clients can gain those same insights in their own bodies.
