Being a dancer, I became involved in Pilates when I was 16 years old as a form of injury prevention and cross training to my dance training. However, I quickly learned how valuable Pilates is, to dancers and non dancers alike. I fell in love with how the practice inherently provides an intricate sense of bodily awareness and strength than any other fitness practice I previously tried. I started my certification process just two years later and have been teaching ever since.
As an instructor, I have continued my Pilates training studying Pilates for injury prevention & rehabilitation, as well as Pre/post natal Pilates and fascial release techniques. While maintaining rooted in Pilates’ basic principles, my class aims to bring you a greater understanding of your body’s true alignment while challenging coordination and endurance.
